The Science and Technology Centre NIS Naftagas is a daughter company, 100% owned by NIS j.s.c.  Novi Sad. It started working independently in July 2012. NTC was established with the aim of scientific and technological monitoring of NIS activities and ensuring innovations in business.

Today, we operate as a regional centre for scientific monitoring of hydrocarbon research, production and processing projects that meets the needs of NIS, a company of the Gazprom Group, and we also achieve successful cooperation with external clients.

We are focused on the development and application of the latest scientific and technological achievements, the provision of multidisciplinary expertise, the transfer of knowledge in the oil, gas and energy sector in a flexible manner. Our main line of business is the performance of scientific – research and development works, geological – investigative works, design and supervision of geophysical works, processing and interpretation of geological – physical data, geological modelling, calculation of reserves, monitoring and testing of new technologies, analytical work during production monitoring, design and supervision of wells, application of chemicals in production processes, laboratory and consulting services.

The successful operation of NTC NIS Naftagas is the result of teamwork and the professional potential of employees. We are proud of a large number of highly qualified and experienced experts, and we perform our work using the latest software programs.

NTC cooperates with domestic and international educational institutions, among which are the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade and “Heriot-Watt” University, based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The centre also has good cooperation with international companies such as “Schlumberger”, “Halliburton”, “Paradigm”.
