Another supervisory assessment of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) has successfully been carried out in the NTC Downstream laboratory.

At all four Downstream laboratory locations, in Pančevo, Novi Sad, Belgrade – Airport "Nikola Tesla" and Niš, regular supervisory assessment as well as the assessment for expanding the scope of accreditation were conducted. The Accreditation Body of Serbia assessed that the Laboratory meets all the requirements for testing through the documentation of the management system and technical expertise for 36 test methods from the scope of accreditation and one method from the request for extending the scope of accreditation. Upon completion of the assessment at all sites, no non-conformities or concerns were identified.

Nataša Badrljica, Director of the Downstream Laboratory Department, stated the importance of accreditation as a way to establish trust in the market, as it represents an independent and impartial assessment of the competence of the laboratory that performs testing tasks.

The success of the assessment is the result of many years of good laboratory practice, teamwork, competence, and high expertise of engineering staff in the field of testing oil and petroleum products – Badrljica pointed out.
