NIS welcomes a delegation from Equatorial Guinea

An Equatorial Guinean delegation led by Francisca Enemé Efua, Minister for Agriculture and Environmental Protection, visited the NIS Science and Technology Center in Novi Sad to discuss the possibility of cooperation with the national oil and gas enterprises of Equatorial Guinea. Leonid Stulov, Director of the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) and Nikola Radmilovich, Director of Naftagas - Oilfield Services presented the activities of NIS, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the region.

During the visit, the delegation had a chance to learn about the activities of the STC as the innovation center within NIS group. The STC provides scientific and technological support to its parent company at all stages of the petroleum exploration and production process, works on digitalization and the development of innovative solutions. The center continuously invests in the training and development of its personnel. The STC presented its the key projects, noting that over the past 5 years the Center has hired more than 100 highly qualified young professionals and invested more than 10 million euros in the development of information technology.

The visitors were introduced to the activities of another NIS subsidiary, Naftagas Oilfield Services, which offers a wide range of services in the field of oil and gas exploration and production, including design, well interventions and construction works. This service company covers the needs of NIS in oilfield services, and provides services to third parties. The range of services includes geophysical testing, drilling, well equipment and workover, as well as specialized well work and testing. The company’s goal is to strengthen its presence in the international market, which is why the priority is to modernize equipment, ensure the highest quality of services, improve technical and technological efficiency, and increase the volume of services provided to NIS and other companies. In addition to Serbia, Naftagas - Oilfield Services has worked on projects in many other countries, including the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Romania and others.
